When cooking with the SousVideMagic system the sensor sits in the water of your cooker to monitor bath temperatures.
The sensor is as extremely sensitive as it is accurate. To ensure the temperature is not compromised from cold food products touching it or by slipping out of the cooker it is highly recommendedthat you purchase this Perforated Disk to house the sensor.
This disk has holes that the sensor can be strung through to ensure that the sensor is only reading the water and not going anywhere. This disk also enhances natural convective heat circulation.
